Icecap 660 qiut-what to do

My icecap 660, running 4 48" t-5 bulbs, now ignites the bulbs for 2 to 3 seconds then quits. I just found out they are out of business. What would be a good replacement to run 4 bulbs?

coralvue makes them now...im pretty sure theyll do the warranty work

Make sure your bulbs are good before you throw it out

I have the same problem and they'll repair it for $60 plus shipping. and my ballast was under a year old. They will give you another year warranty. They suggested to me to buy a new ballast and get a three year warranty.

Glad to hear someone is doing the rebuilds on the Icecaps, I'll have to pick one up now. Does anyone know if they will be making 400w DE halide bulbs?

Silly me, I guess. I had replaced a bulb with a new Coralife 10,000K bulb. Took it out, put another bulb in and it worked.

My IceCap 660 does that whenever I run a set of bulbs completely into the ground. I have also had that happen when I changed bulbs and one of them didn't seat properly in the end cap. It had twisted loose while I was screwing the waterproof thingy down.
