Im in the process of planning a transfer of my tank and as i have to catch my fishes and the percs have had ich for 3 months + additional infections or something similar, i would like to know what to do first or how to solve this.
i plan doing hypo for the advised schedule, do you think it would be wise to treat them with antibiotics first or will the other pests leave as the ich is ousted? my theory is that their immune system might have to do alot due to ich and so they cant deal with bacteria/ viruses. i fear that a treatment before starting hypo might stress them so much that they might not survive the hypo. they have been eating like pigs in the last 3 months, and other fish have not been affected neither by the ich nor any infections.
so what would you say: treat them then hypo, only hypo, hypo first and then treatment?
