It might thin them out in the water column. However, as you probably know they multipy into a cysts form in the substrate and on the rock after leaving the fish and are usually found where the fish sleeps since they leave the fish at night and then reinfest at night.So you will only be reducing the number in the water column.
if at this point you are not going to remove your fish, the water changes every2 or three days can't hurt . You may also wan't to try a garlic supplement(unproven but). High uv sterilizsation will aso help particularly against secondary infections like Amyloodinium which is almost always fatal. You should also avoid placing new specimens in your tank especially if they are not quarantined. A new specimen may carry in a new strain and/or be infected by the strain that is already there. If you can manage your way through it for 11months without introducing a new strain, the one you have will perish aftera maximum of 34 life cycles(11month or so)
