OK, removed all infested fish from the tank. Put all of them in quarantine. Was tolled (by a good LFS) that gramma in unlikely to survive cupper, so removed it in to a 30L container. Added cuper to the rest (but not before the badly infested mandarin was found dead). Question is what to do with the gramma? In theory (http://www.petsforum.com/personal/trevor-jones/marineich.html) the bugs can't stay any longer than 7 days on the fish, and thaws that drop off can't re-infect in less than 3 days. I plan to move a gramma from 1 container to another with nothing in it but a powerhead every 48h, 4 times. The container will be washed in freshwater and dried before it is re-used (have 2 days to do that), so will be the powerhead and a plastic tube for hiding. Water will be hyposaline (aclimating the fish to it now), freshly made, or I can use some from an unaffected nano. There will be no biological filtration, just a clean sponge (to be replaced at each move) Is this going to do the trick for me, or am I still missing something?
Once finished, the fish will go in to the nano (50L) for the next 5 weeks. It will join its tankmates in it once they are done with the coper.
