I'm using Prazipro to treat flukes.
Can you use this in conjunction with Cupramine to treat ich?

Yes, I've done it before with no ill effects. However, another poster reported that Prazi's effectiveness is reduced when combined with copper. He was told this by Prazi's customer support I believe.

Yes, that is correct. Unless there is an obvious reason, I use Prazipro first then go on with other treatment if needed/desired.

Thank you guys, my 5day cycle with prazi is almost over and plan on the Cupramine.
Reason i ask, because bottle of Prazi does state not to combine with other drug or disease treatment...

Has anyone had prazipro fail for the treatment of flukes?

No but sometimes it takes more than one treatment. I did one treatment, then did a 50% water change and ran carbon for the day to remove as much as possible then removed carbon the next day and started a second treatment.

Hope this helps!

the directions calls for a dose of 2.5. i give it a few more mls equating to about 3.5 or even more. by the time my cupramine treatment is complete(usually 3-4 weeks), i would've went thru 2-3 treatments of prazi.

Sadly, I have to report, both black tang & achilles died on me.
Did a second dose of Prazi after 15% water change, and late that evening did a cupramine dose, and did followed direction on bottle.
Next morning found them on the bottom.
The only thing can figure out, they couldn't handle copper.

I myself am new to fish diseases but are you sure it was Ich what you've treated. Since my fish got sick I keep reading forums and checking photos of sick fish and from what I can see from yours the dead bodies of the tangs seem like they may have brook. There is something like whitish film on them peeling off, more visible near the fins of the achilles.
Not saying that copper might not have been the reason for the death (combined with the stress). Even that I haven't read any comments of tangs being sensitive to copper/Cupramine, I am also a bit concerned about using copper on my fish that I plan on treating in the next days due to Ich outbreak in the DT. How did you test the copper concentration? Many suggest using the Sachem copper test for accurate results as Cupramine is a product of the same company.
