Ich help copper not working

I ordered from bluezooaquatics and need up with ich. I have a blue tang,butterfly,2 clowns and a wrasse in qt. I'm on my 21 st day dosing coppersafe. I'm monitoring it and having no luck with the tang. The rest of the fish show no signs for a week. But the tang can't kick it. He is eating everything I put in but ich won't die. I have fw dipped him multiple times. It looks like small copepods come off of him sometimes what could that be

A pic of the tang might help (maybe this is not Ich?)

Also, do you have an API copper test kit to measure Coppersafe? The effective range is 1.5-2.0 ppm, which is substantially higher than, say, Cupramine.

I'll get a pic of tang tomorrow when lights come on. Yea I'm using API but I'm keeping copper between 2-4. I know API isn't the most reliable. Is there another disease/park site that resembles ich

Here is pic of a parasite

Well I thought I had ich, posted a pic, was told it was brook by several people on here, already was in the process of treating ich and 1 week into treatment, clown looks great. I think it's very hard to diagnose diseases by pictures because of different lighting, angles, reflection, etc..

I'm ABSOLUTELY NOT saying the people didn't know what they were talking about, but it's hard to diagnose diseases from pics, that's why the doctors don't use facetime for your doctor visits when your sick, LOL

I might still have brook and ich maybe, I'm getting ready to ask that, but from my years in the hobby experience, Seachem Cupramine really works GREAT for ICH.

I have no idea what is in those pics. I will say this, though. When a fish gets Ich and symptoms appear on the skin, the white spots (trophonts) are actually under the skin. You have to look very closely. The white spots are tiny (think sprinkled sugar or salt), won't dangle or anything like that, and they will last on the fish for at least several days.

You can never see ich, in any of its forms. The white spots are just scar Tiresias from the parasite digging in. Dips do nothing for ich, but the will dislodge flukes. From your description, I'm guessing this is what you're seeing. PraziPro is a great wormer and easy to use.

can i add the prazipro to the water even though it has copper in it. I have read that not with cupramine but is coppersafe ok?

You'll read both opinions with either. The mfg of PP says its safe with Cupramine, but the PP isn't as effective. I assume the same is true with other copper; but with different opinions common; I'd call coppersafe's tech support. It should be easy to find the number. I really don't like using 2 meds at the same time, but you may need to.
