This weekend I plan on removing all my rock and pull all of my fish for qt . Since my dt will be empty for the next two months other then coral I'm wondering what to do to a point. should I just put phyto , oyster eggs, reef roids, ext into the tank? Basically feed 2-3times a week with the lights off. Any other ideas would be great .

Since my dt will be empty for the next two months other then coral ... Basically feed 2-3times a week with the lights off.

why lights off if you have corals ?

and as asked above ... replace the rocks back in after you catch ure fish.

then leave the display with lights ON [regular hours] with rocks and corals.

ghost feed the tank, you can add pellets or other foods you mentioned. but not too much, a good time to clean up the tankandmake the SPS color up :)

You are only removing the rock temporarily to catch your fish so you can treat them for ick. Correct?

Then everything is going right back in and running the way it was except having no fish. Correct?

If that is the case then you might have to feed your tank a small amount to keep it healthy but depending on your nutrient level is right now.

If your NO3 and PHO4 is already high then there is really no need to feed your tank and this maybe a good time to lower those levels.

You might stir up a bunch of nutrients and cause some die off from this fish catch adventure anyway.

I am only taking the rock out to catch the fish then it will go back in. I was thinking lights off for feeding the coral. the. tank will still operate the same but with out any fish.
