I have put all fish in qt hospital tanks one hypo 1.009 for flame angel breeding pair ,ruby headed wrasse, yellow tang and copper banded butterfly and MB
1droper gallon and

one tank 1.024 mardels coppersafe 1naked clownand two other clowns, one dark blue chromis ,3 blue green chromis one spot foxface and 3 anthais, and of course the culprit one my ich nighmare hippo blue tang very large 4-5 inches one inch wide. LFS told me do not quarantine.

also have two mating dragonettte in bucket with live rock= bubbler in sump dipped daily in MB and ich slides off transferring daily to new water and feeding frozen flying fish eggs from Chinese village store tiny orange stuff from sushi

I live in Canada. No levamisole in Canada.
I am treating display reef with proto marin.
basically malachite green and MB.

My sister inlaw may be bring this levamisole to me for thurs from Indianna.

How much to dose 150 gallon us tank and 40 gallon sump?

Sorry, but I lost you in the first paragraph. No idea what products your using either, besides the coppersafe. So you removed all fish, but still want to treat the display??

second QT mardels coppersafe

third QT marderin dragons live rock and tank tranfers as required with dip in
1ml( 1/5 of a teaspoon): per litre or (quart) and Ich drops off in 30 minutes

I am doing main display tank with proto marin corral which appears to be mainly malachite green and methalyene blue

I am hoping my sister in law will find levamisole in Indiana and bring to me Thursdays I need the ratio so I can treat tank and post how it works even though fish are out of the display I only have 4 corrals costing me less than other who have been in hobby longer and are more advanced.

Worth testing with fish out. Anybody have a successful ratio per US gallon with levamisole for Ich??

the best way and to make sure your main display tank clean is to leave it with no fish for 72 days before adding any fish GOOD LUCK

Levamisole is an anthelminthic (dewormer), so it is not an appropriate treatment for cryptocaryon (ich). The only effective treatments for marine ich are tank transfer, copper, chloroquine phosphate or hyposalinity.

I was told not to treat fish with any medication while in hypo. So, watch them closely if you're treating with hypo. I've also heard that just leaving the display tank fishless for 4 - 8 weeks will take care of that. Good luck.

Levamisol:

Levamisol has a wide range of anti-nematodic (worms) effects. It is efficient in destroying both adult and larvae forms of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematode parasites in fish such as Camallanus Nematodes (& is one of the best nematode treatments one can use).
It attacks parasites by causing first paralysis and then death of the parasites. Partly decomposed parasites are being eliminated during the first 24 hours since the beginning of the medicine application.

Levamisole is found primarily in wormers for animals at veterinary supply houses and treated a 5 ppm. This was also found in an Aquatronics product, Discomed (a good one at that); no longer available since the demise of what was arguably the best fish treatment manufacturer.
In fact as a side note, purchasing aquarium products at companies such as Amazon, Pet Mountain and many others will likely result in more top notch aquarium information and supply companies disappearing as did Aquatronics, remember this the next time you attempt to save a $1 by purchasing at these types of retailers

Dosage: Refer to product instructions containing these medications (Do NOT use any of these in the presence of invertebrates). If Levamisol cannot be located, the use of Levamisol HCL found in many commercial dog, poultry, cattle, etc. wormers can be substituted.

59 mg of Levamisole HCl is equivalent to 50 mg of pure levamisole.

You will need 2.36 mg/L (or 9 mg/Gallon) of Levamisole HCL, so approximately 90mg of Levamisole HCL will treat 10 gallons (38 liters) with a required 2 ppm concentration.
Since Levamisole can be safely over dosed (with a considerable safety margin), approximately .019 teaspoon will work per 10 gallons.

Be prepared to vacuum gravel/change water to remove dead worms. The nematodes will be giving off toxins as they die.

Cryptocaryon isn't a worm last I checked, if you removed all the fish already, there is no product that will kill the ich cysts. Therefore the display just goes fallow. I'm still confused in what your trying to accomplish here.

Cryptocaryon is a ciliated protozoan, so an anthelmintic will be ineffective.
