Ich in Tank?

First, here is the list of questions from the sticky. I am also attaching a couple pics, but not the best quality. I have a purple and white tail in the tank as well as other fish and inverts. The purple doesn't show any visible signs, not sure about the white tail tang.

I just want to make sure I do this the right way and not entirely sure if I have to pull everything out of the tank, for how long etc to make sure the tank is clean and the fish are also clean.

A pic of the Achilles:

1. How old is this aquarium?
Been up and running about 14 months
2. If less than six months old, what is ammonia level?
N/A
3. What is SG of this aquarium? How measured?
1.024 and with a calibrated refractometer from BRS

4. When was the last fish added to this aquarium?
About 2 months ago, an Achilles

5. Was it quarantined? If so, how? And how long? Was it prophylactically treated? How?
Yes, 2 weeks, no proph in a 20gal QT.

6. If you are using a copper based medication, which one? How often do you measure level? When?
Have not used any copper or any treatment yet.

7. If you are using hyposalinity, how did you calibrate your refractometer?
Not using it.

8. Please describe in detail, the appearance of the fish? If there is one or more pimples, are they lumpy? What color?
It looks like salt on the body and the eye is somewhat cloudy as well. The spots are tiny and white.

9. Please describe the behavior of the fish as best you can. Is it acting reclusive? Is it always up towards the top of the aquarium? Is it avoiding light? How active is the fish?
Behaviour is normal as far as I can tell. He is swimming actively and eating Nori and Mysis

10. Is the fish eating? What?
Yes, see above statement on Nori and mysis

Looks like Cryptocaryon (marine ich), and a pretty advanced case of it. All fish in the DT will need to be treated and the DT left fallow (fishless) for 72 days. Treatment options can be found in the stickies at the top of this forum.

Options for keeping 3 tangs, 6 chromis, 3 wrasse, 4 banggai and 3 clowns that long? I only have a 20 gallon QT. I do have a 32 gallon brute and some smaller plastic bins.

What do I need equipment wise and live rock wise etc to keep that many fish out of my main tank?

You may just need several tanks to accomplish this if you can't get a 55g or so to house all of those in. You need to move fast though as your Achilles has it bad and other fish likely will soon as well.

Do not use live rock in your QT. Simply glass, PVC attachments for hiding places, heater and something for water movement will do. Any of powerheads, airpumps, hang-on-back filter will do just fine. For QT's you need to keep it as simple as possible.

You will likely want to either do Copper or Hypo with that number of fish unless you can get enough tanks (and time) to do TTM.

Keep posting here for next step advice as needed.

I can pickup a 55 at petco and use my HOB filter from my 20 gallon. I have a couple spare powerheads that I can use as well.

I will need to mix saltwater though. Anything else to consider?

What about getting bacteria going in the new 55 gallon? Just use the standard chemicals like Bio Spira?

I'm also in the middle of dosing Nopox. Based on BRS, I shouldn't just stop, so should I keep on dosing that while there are no fish in the main tank?

No fish in the main tank. inverts are ok, and dead fish are ok if you can't find them.
Just about any container will do, food grade is best. If you plan on adding copper, realize its generally not reusable for anything but QT from there. (don't use it to store RO later)
Continue to nopox, it doesn't care about the ich.
If you have sponges or media in the tank/sump, you can transfer them (and toss them later) with the fish to help with the bioload/cycle.

Ok, I have a 32 gallon brute that I used to mix salt in until I got my 55 gallon one. Would that be big enough for all of my fish, or should I get a cheap 55 gallon tank?

Will the wrasse be Ok without sand in the QT?

I would try to find a cheap 55gal, personally. It's difficult to observe the fish in a brute can. For the wrasse, you can get a tupperware container and fill it with 2-3" of sand.
