Ich on coral plugs... Snorvich please clarify!

There's always a risk with anything wet, but it's hard to say how much of a risk. To be %100 safe, yes QT everything for @10 weeks.

I'm no Snorvich but...

Here's a thread I started on this a few months ago:

Post 33 has yet another link to a related thread.

Bottom line, I quarantine coral and inverts for 10 weeks. Fish get 10-12 weeks.

Yup,

I'm thinking this is the way i'll have to go.

Already have a QT setup for fish (for copper)... but I will need another QT for corals and inverts. Obviously it will need to have some sort of lighting...

Sounds to me like I need a frag tank... Maybe something like a biocube..

What about frag plugs?

I had a bare bottom tank tank with LR that supported ich, so the Protomonts had to be attaching to something besides substrate...

If you're worried about just the plugs. Then just get a toothbrush, and scrub the plugs real good. This will get rid of anything that's on it..

I'm doubting this is good advice.

I've never heard of 'mechanically' irradiating ich before and if just one is left behind.... you know the rest.

X2.
I have a coral frag tank, that snails, crabs, corals, etc all spend 10-12 weeks. Plus a QT for fish, then the DT.
