Ich or Copepods?

I am home from college for a week and my girlfriend is watching my tank. I added my first fish to the tank two days before leaving (against my better judgement and to make her happy...) and she called me today saying theres three white spots on him but she thinks the "spots" have legs and said she thinks it may just be copepods. The fish is a yellow clown goby and he spends a lot of his time along the glass where i see copepods. Do they ever attach to fish? And if it is ich, being that he is the only living thing in the tank can I put him in a QT and treat the DT?

Ask your gf to send you some pics of the goby & the spots. A clown goby shouldn't be hard to photograph. I guess it's possibe for copepods to crawl over a bottom-dwelling goby, but something tells me it's probably something else.

Me too. If the "spot" stays still, it isn't a pod.
