Ich or not?!

I have a sixline in quarantine that I thought had ich a week ago, so I treated with copper. Since then I have done water changes and forgot to add copper to the new water.

I can't tell its ich or air bubbles. There are to hang on filters that make a lot of bubbles, and the white things are constantly appearing and disappearing (withing like 10 seconds sometimes, but I never see them come off)

Otherwise the fish is eating like crazy and being active. I just don't want to add more copper at risk of adding too much bc I don't know how much water I added.....

Sorry for the novel, but any input is appreciated.

Get a Cu test kit and find out what level of Cu you have in the tank....add Cupramine to get to the correct level.

If the spots are appearing and disappearing within 10 seconds at times, it is definitely not ich.

Bring the level back up in the tank, verify with a test kit. Get a bucket and premix some water, add the required amount of cupramine to bring the level up. Use that when you do a water change so you don't have to worry about it. You should still be testing once a day/couple days to verify the copper is where it should be. Copper below the recommended level is not entirely effective at killing ich, if not stable you may not kill the free swimming parasite before it finds a host.
