Ich plus worms?

I had an Ich outbreak this past week, forcing me to place all my fish in a hospital tank and begin a hypo routine. A couple fish didn't make it through to the completion of the salinity reduction. The ones that did seem to be reacting positively, although a day and a half later they are still not eating. (Imperator Angel, Maroon Clown, Firefish). My Naso Tang has kept his appetite through all of this unfortunately I believe he has come down with Turbellid worms. He has brown patches/spot covering his mouth/gil area as well as the side of his body and it appears as if in some areas his "skin" is coming off. A lfs recommended using a formalin/malachite green product. Is it ok to use these meds during hypo. Will it affect the other fish negatively that aren't eating already? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's my understanding that you can't use any meds in conjunction with hypo. Too stressful on the fish. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not 100% sure what those brown splotches are. But if they're worms, I'd think PraziPro would be your best bet. Of course, you'd have to acclimate the Tang back to s/w and treat with Cupramine & Prazi.

Hopefully someone will chime in with more knowledge than I.

i've done hypo 1.008-.009 with prazipro several times without any ill-effects. fish continued to eat fine as well.
