I had an Ich outbreak this past week, forcing me to place all my fish in a hospital tank and begin a hypo routine. A couple fish didn't make it through to the completion of the salinity reduction. The ones that did seem to be reacting positively, although a day and a half later they are still not eating. (Imperator Angel, Maroon Clown, Firefish). My Naso Tang has kept his appetite through all of this unfortunately I believe he has come down with Turbellid worms. He has brown patches/spot covering his mouth/gil area as well as the side of his body and it appears as if in some areas his "skin" is coming off. A lfs recommended using a formalin/malachite green product. Is it ok to use these meds during hypo. Will it affect the other fish negatively that aren't eating already? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
