So my tang has been QT for 5 weeks or 35 days. I have been medicating and he's looking good, eating very well. How do I decide when I can add him back to my main tank? I read all over about 40 days...is this accurate? Should I give it an extra week or two? I am going to continue to feed him garlic soaked food to prevent this again, hopefull that helps

Be sure the main tanks water readings are up to par.If he get stressed to much it couls be a trigger.Do you feed him nori?

I would give 8 full weeks of hyposalinity. If you're using copper, it's more of a guess, but I'd probably wait for a few weeks without any symptoms showing.

When you say medicating, what exactly do you mean you are doing?
