Ich symptoms??? Not sure

I noticed tonight that my clown fish has white spots on it, like grains of salt or powder. I did arrange a lot of rocks tonight so there was a lot of debris in the tank so think it may be from that.

My question is: can the white spots be the ONLY symptom of ich? Besides some occassional flashing the fish seems fine: is eating, swimming well, not gasping for air at the surface.

Yes, the white spots CAN be the only symptom. They may not stay the only symptom though. The other symptoms usually result once the fish becomes overwhelmed by the parasite....which may very well happen after several lifecycles are allowed to propagate unchecked. Go to the fish desease forum and do some reading and it may be bast to get the fish out and QT and treat.
