Ich treatment reintroduce to dt

After treating a fish with ICH with copper. Is it safe to add him directly to the display tank after his copper treatment?

Give him a few more days observation in regular water in qt. For one thing it'll show if he's really over it; and 2) it lets him build up his protective slime coat. If a clown, eg, is put straight in and dives for his nem, it can kill him, because his slime coat has been trashed.

No. First of all, copper is problematic even with 30 days of proper treatment. Secondly, you need total observation time of a minimum of five weeks after treatment.

This ^^
Also, if the fish got sick in the display tank the parasite may still be in there. And a fish that just came out of copper will have a weakened immune system (copper is a immunosuppressant) and will be highly vulnerable to reinfection.
