So I'm doing ttm on my purple tang. He's never had any spots but 2 weeks ago when I got him he was scraping/ flashing. So I did 2 rounds of prazi and he's now in transfer 3 of ttm. I have 2 more transfers to go.

Today while feeding the fish which is in qt. I notice these white "shiny dots" that are very tiny less than .5 mm along his stomach and the bottom of his body. I only have ambient lighting so it's very faint. I can't tell if it's ich but it's only in this spot nowhere else. Is it ich can it become visible.during ttm when it was never visible before?

Yes.

Does this mean I will have to increase transfers until I no longer see the spots or will the 12+days and minimum 4 transfers do the trick to eliminate ich? like i said in my previous post that i just started seeing tiny white spots during the 3rd transfer.

In theory the original schedule will work. The ick was there from the beginning, just not visible. The spots should be gone by the time you are done assuming you haven't contaminated any of the tanks during transfer accidentally or gotten mist or spray transferring between the tanks.

If the spots are still there after the 12 days, I would assume something went wrong and start over. Or I guess they might be something besides ick.
