ich wiped out my tank,
All that i have in there now is a coral banded shrimp and a few snails and small crabs, i also have a hammer coral and a few torch corals and other pieces of coral, and live rock, sand ect..

What should i do next and how long to wait before restocking,
Ill be speaking to my LFS also but i want some advice from a few sources
Thanks

Are you sure it was ich? Ich (Cryptocaryon) rarely kills all fish in a tank and then usually something else was horribly wrong with the tank. And even then it usually takes a couple of weeks.

All fish dying points usually to velvet (Amyloodinium).

It would help if you could give more details: what fish were involved, what the symptoms were, how the disease progressed,...

This. Also LFS are notoriously bad sources for information.

+1 ich seems a little unlikely.

Two thoughts going forward:
1. Slow down and quarantine your fish so that if you do get a sick one with something nasty you dont lose everything
2. Usual target for ridding a fishless tank from ich is 72 days of zero fish

76 is better. MOST strains of ich will die out in less than 45 days but not all

Actually, looking at his other thread it seems to have been ich. He added a severely sick hippo tang (white from ich) that basically nuked the tank with a lethal level of ich.
Even hardy fish that may be able to handle an infection that builds up slowly will go down in flames if they get confronted with tens of thousands of tomites at once. In such a case they have no chance of building up immunity/resistance.

To be on the safe side I would leave the tank fishless for at least 3 full months.
And set up a QT so this won't happen again!
