Question do i really have to keep my display fish free for three months to rid it of ich. Cause that's a long sucky amount of time.:mad2:

I've heard anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks. The longer the safer so to speak. Maybe comprise and go 10 weeks and call it good.

Especially when simply using a QT would have kept it out.

What about when you Qt inverts or corals, because the scare here is bringing in cyst that may be on them should you have them in qt for at least 10 weeks as well.

After everything I've read, yes, QT for 10 weeks.

I would qt inverts and liverock for 10 to 12 weeks.
