Put them in your tank and see. Some thing in my tank eat them.

Maybe. The shrimp would have to be rather small for your wrasse to eat them ATM. It is possible but I would do it.

John, I Thank you . I didn't think a small mouth wrasse would be a problem , but I wasn't sure . I'm not one to throw a rabbit in with a Boa . Ted

Never mind. I looked it up online and just as I suspected:

bird wrasse eats all kinds of smaller critters!

Now, how do I have crabs & snails & such with him in the tank? Will it be a numbers game... e.g. put a hundred in and hope they multiply before they die?

Hints, experience, etc. greatly appreciated.
