ICK and UV sterilizer

I have a reef tank and some of my tangs have ICK. I am using ruby red ick treatment right now but I was wondering if I get a UV sterilizer if that would get rid of all the ick. Are UV's ok to use with a reef tank?

I don't want to take all the fish out because it would take too long and stress all my corals out.

I run one and ever since have had no issues with disease and still a full blown pods in fuge and system

The ick treatment isn't going to work for you. The ruby red is junk. The UV may help, but if your fish all have it at this point you will have to treat with hypo. Copper is to harsh on tang's. Do you have a QT? If you QT and hypo all your fish and while doing this get a UV, afterwards you may never have ick, but to add it in the middle of the ick cycle, won't cure them, but will likely help.
