ick killed my fish HELP ME

hey guys and gals well it happended after 3 years of being ick free i got a raccoon butterfly fish which i dumped into my tank cause i was ina hurry, well the raccoon died a week later i noticed that my clownfish which i've had for 3 years had some but not much well i treater my tank with some herbal treatmen while raising the temp and running my lights for only 5-6 hours a day so thought it was fine well after a week, and carbon back in, and a water change my clowns got the ich bad and died in two days. my question to yall is how long should i wait before i try to put more fish in the tank and i also have 1 fish in there not showing any signs of ich (yellow watchman goby) please help me with my down time!!!!!!!!!!

i quarantine every time except once, but what i really need to know is what i should do with the watchman and what to do to help this problem while there are no fish in my tank

Bring him out and put him in qt. 8 weeks with no fish in the main tank. Gobies rarely catch it, but he's the only target in an infested tank.

Use the downtime to test your water [daily] and bring it to a stable state. One defense against the pest is to help fish immunity by having very stable, very spot-on water.
