Hello received my icp test back today and all was good apart from phosphate and nitrate. Nitrate was at 0.01 and phosphates was no value as it was undetected.

I would like to bring these up. I have seachem flourish , but what can I dose for nitrates. My tank is 200 litres after displacement so looking for starting doses, what would you do?

Thanks

Amazon had food-grade sodium nitrate available at one point. I'd take a look for that. A reagent grade might work, too. Potassium nitrate is another options. Given that the phosphate level is lower than you'd like, though, just adding a bit more fish food might be fine.

I would add 10 chromis or more fishes. What coral are you keeping? Are they starving?

may i ask what ICP test kit are you using? and. I wonder how accurate the no3 and po4 results would be? how long from the time you took the sample and received results?
