ID (big grainy cellphone pic's)

Saw this guy at LFS today
Think he is a Odontodactylus scyllarus which would be too big for my tank

The back of his shell has a white oxidized growth on it... not sure if that would go away with a molt?

Peacock mantis shrimp -- Odontodactylus scyllarus. Those "light spots" on the telson (tail) look like they might warrant further inspection. If these are sores or holes in the shell, do not buy this animal.

It looked like a very coarse/porous protruding growth like hardened white sand or sugar on top of the scales

Was very active/interactive would be a shame if he had some sort of irreversable shell disease
