ok so i saw this guy at a Fish store down in the southbay, but i cant remember what his name was..wanted to do more research...I was able to snag a pic of him though..
he just swims around and eats substrate...very active....any ideas??
Valencienna puellaris AKA diamond watchman goby, and oranage spotted goby for sure. gobies are probably my personal favorites. just be sure that your LR is secure, or that you have big pieces on the bottom, as they will borrow in the sand. often under the LR, which could cause the LR to fall. my Pink Spotted Shrimp Goby has made a cave under the largest piece of LR in my tank. he also has a tunnel as a back door to the cave. hes constantly making sand mounds in front of the cave as well. he even has a hobby, shell collecting. if a shell ends up on the sand, he picks it up and puts in his pile in the cave. empty or not!
