I have a setup about 6 weeks old which i recently bought a mated pair of black ocellaris to put in. I notices a couple days ago that the female's behavior has become somewhat erratic. She will occasionally swim to the front of the tank and dart back and forth for a couple seconds then return to normal behavior. She has also been breathing somewhat rapidly. The other day I noticed she has a couple small right spots ONLY right around her mouth. As of right now, nowhere else on her body, nowhere around the gills, and no slime that I can see. She has not lost her appetite at all and is eating quite a bit when I feed her twice per day. She eats formula 2 flakes, pellets and mysis shrimp.

Other than the occasional freak out which seems to be happening less and less, she acts completely normal. No rubbing on rocks or anything like that. I am not sure if these spot are at all related to her behavior. The tank was at 80F but I brought it down to 78F and he behavior seems to be relatively normal again, but the spots are still noticable.

When I bought these from another reefer in Denver, he sold them to me with and RBTA which was fairly sick and the clowns were being rather rough with it so I had to take it out of the tank to allow it to recover so I imagine that created a bit of stress as well.

The male seems to be acting normally and shows no signs of abnormal behavior.

The tank is going through an algae bloom right now but as far as I know that wouldn't create a problem. I am skimming aggressively and tank parameters are as follows:

SG: 1.026
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrites: 0 ppm
Nitrates: <5 ppm

I use a 5 stage ro/di to fill/ top off the tank.

I appologize I don't have a higher quality camera to take a picture but here is what it looks like. (There is some food floating in there as well as they were in the middle of eating)
