ID for mantis(got the pics at last)

hi all,

managed to get the pics at long last.

here is it.

It is definitely an Odontodactylus. It is definitely not O. hawaiiensis and I doubt that it is O. latirostris. O. cultrifer is a possibility, although the ones I have seen were a bit different. Does the telson have a keel sticking up. It would be quite large and distinctive.

it is pretty. but can you imagine it being a fast land animal, or maybe semi aquatic? say, the size of an alligator? yikes...majorly scary thought.
 
Roy : i'm not sure about the keel part, cos this fella is still in the LFS.

Once i'm done with his home, i'll bring him home and take some better and clearer pics.

venwu : got this from a LFS in singapore...shipped in from indonesia.
