Hard to tell from this pic. Could be a Green BTA though. Is it on rock or in the sand?

2nd is a rock or flower anemone. They don't do much. I have a white, gren and orange. Kind of like flowers in the tank.

Where did the first anemone come from?? It looks like H. Malu or H. Crispa. If you got it local let me know and I can probably tell you what it is...

Hey Eric I didn't Know you were a anemone guru or I would have posted on our club. I got them both form Fishy Biz when Kin still owned it.

I'm no guru...I just love anemones. :)

I believe it is H. Malu due to the rings on the tentacles and the fact the outer tentacles are the longest. A shot of the underside of the oral disc is needed for a more definitive ID.

Check out this link to compare pics...

I was wondering if it was malu too, it will be interesting to see how it turns out :)

Usually H. crispa have more tentacles and they're longer (and not usually striped), but tentacle length, number, and shape can change if an anemone is starving. Definately a shot of the underside of the disk would be very helpful. There are people on here that are really good at giving ID's, but I'm not one of them :(
One day maybe :)

It looks like a malu to me, or at least what most sources would describe as H. malu.
There is a slight chance that it may be a H. aurora that has lost its tentacle projections from factors involved with captivity.

Looks like a typical Atlantic Rock/Flower Anemone to me.
