I'd help frogspawn not looking good

Here is what I think I have. My parameters are good where they have been for a long time with no issues. But I just lost one hammer and now one of my frogspawn have not opened in several days. I do see this small white tube thing with what looks like a red feathery head. The red feathery head will retract from time to time and disappear. There may be a second one closer to the base but it is hard to see and harder to take a pic of. Does anyone have a clue what that could be? Could that be my problem? I tried looking up pests but could not find anything that looks like it so I am not sure if that is the issue. I will ad a pic but it is hard to see cause it is so small and I do not have a great camera.

Thanks in advance

I measure a few times a week.
Nitrates nitrites ammonia all 0.
Alk 9
calcium 400
ph 8.2
temp 79
Phosphate .3

I use hanna checker for phosphate but am not sure if I have it mastered yet, tests tend to vary by about .1

I use API for alk and calcium but I MIT have hanna checkers coming in for those tests also. But am not sure i may have got ripped off by a guy on Rc.

But they all have been there for a long time with no trouble.
I have been dosing with 2 part iconic for about 2 months when my alk and cal started to drop when I started to see some good growth in my corals. But plan to change to kalk when it arrives from brs. I am dosing alk at 6ml/day and calcium at 10ml/day. Just recently upped the calcium because it was still a little low within the last week.

I also have been dosing vodka for about a month, but I am increasing it slowly. Ad have not saw much of a drop in my phosphate yet. I am dosing right now at 1.2ml/day

It seems like a lot going on in such a new, small setup. I would question the validity of the zero readings. I see what appears to be a lot of green going on. Algae? I tend to jump to conclusions, but I would be thinking along the line of bugs. Watch for brown slime and act fast if you see any.

The zero readings are close but I do not believe those are a problem, all I have for the zero readings are API and they just get me close.but the tank is not new i have had it for almost 2 years now. I have been struggling with algae a little but the addition of a refugium with chaeto, a gfo and dosing with vodka I am trying to get the phosphate down. But it is no worse then where it normally is and these frogspawn have been doing great and growing well. I did get a new couple frags, that I did not dip, but I do not see any bugs. As for brown slime how do I know I have it and what do I do about it if I do?

You'll know brown slime when you see it. I suspect someone may have been able to save a piece that's had it. I never had that kind of luck... or skill to do so. I wouldn't worry too much about that until it happens. Just maintain the best water quality you can.
If you have bugs, they can be seen. It takes a sharp eye and time studying your animals. The ones I've seen were smaller than a grain of sugar....
I wish I had the definitive answer. This is one that would haunt me till I knew what I did wrong...
on that note, I have my own problem that I just discovered tonight. I pose my questions in a new post....
