I can't tell you specifically which type of macro red algae that is, but it's not a super fast grower and if it's in a place in the tank where you can occasionally (like 4 to 6 times a year) get a pair of scissors in the tank and give it a 'haircut', you'll be fine and just like any refugium algae, exporting nitrates and phosphates.
Take a look at the algaes Gulf Coast Ecosystems sells and you may find your algae. I bought some from Russ at our clubs Reef Conference. GCE is about 2 hours north of us.
