ID help: Parasite?

Trying to learn what this is. Almost looks like a damaged scale (from the way it's attached and moves in the current). It's the single white dot around its head. No other fish are affected to my knowledge.

Thought I'd get some pics up right away to get some ideas. Thanks for your time.

I have the same problem with one of my clown fish. So I would like to know as well what it is.

Is the fish eating well? Behaving normally? If so, don't trip.. Just chalk it up to a battle scar. (blemish) GL.

On a side note; Patristic Isopod? Definitely worth a search.

Acting normal, eating normal.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep an eye on it. If I'm feeling like it might be something external like an isopod, I'll likely pick it off with some tweezers like was suggested in a similar thread.
