ID Help please.....

:I noticed over the past few days one of my leathers was looking awful. I decided to move it since it was up against the overflow box and when I turned it around weird creature-ish thing was on it. It moves slug-like but it has hundreds of white-opaquish, worm like tenticles on it. One of tenticles came off and the fish went for it and quickly spit it out. Can't tell if it killed the coral or is just hanging on that rock. Don't have a good feeling about it.Thanks.

Sounds like some type of nudibranch - perhaps one that preys on soft corals? Can you capture it and isolate it? Maybe use some kind of rod to shove it into a jar?
