I got this at my LFS and he told me Alvepora. I think it is Goniopora, but ithought the tentacles came out farther. I have had it three weeks now. Thanks for any help, Dan

Count the number of tentacles on each head. Goniopora have 24, alveopora have 12.

it has 24, but it does not extend like any other goniopora. I was wondering if this is some kind of short polyped goniopora? thanks, Dan

I'd say its a goni. Were the polyps extended at the lfs?

no they are extended a little more here in this pic then at the LFS
