I have recently noticed this growing in my fuge. Is this chlorodesmis sp? Is what i have benificial or not to have in the fuge?

It looks like Bryopsis. As it grows it will remove nitrogen and to a lesser extent, other nutrients from your water and convert it to algal biomass. It can become a pest, though. You may want to add something like Chaetomorpha or Caulerpa to your 'fuge to outcompete it.

get it outta your tank while u still can man! that stuff breaks into pieces and attaches toeverythign!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why did i ask that guy for a handful of it from his tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!
