I have had a small rescue project fall into my lap.
This guys owner passed and the tank was neglected for sometime (couple weeks at least) before I got a call to come help tear it down and save what I could.

I was given no info on this guy and they thought he was dead when I got him (was completely closed up just looked like a lump of foot). I got him home and aclimated into a quarantine tank. He is finally opening up some and has even moved his location on the rock - at first he hid from the light but is out more and open now so that I can see something of him. So any guess as to what he is? Also any information on the species would be appreciated as I would like to get him healthy and growing again.

It's a BTA (Entacmaea quadricolor). It's completely bleached and needs some TLC. I would expect it to make a full recovery assuming proper light and water conditions are provided. do cover any power head intakes, that could spell disaster.

No powerheads in this quarantine tank all flow is from a hob unit with a sponge on the intake. (It's just a 10 gallon I set up as a quarantine just for him.) As for light I have a 2 bulb T5 HO (24 watt) over it right now. I'm keeping an eye on the water perameters and doing small water changes. Any recommendations on feeding this guy?

You can try small pieces of shimp, squid, mysis, fresh fish, etc. (no larger than a peanut). I'm assuming the filter media is from an established system, otherwise, ammonia/nitrites could spike which would be very bad. The lighting should be ok in that small of a tank.

I have some live rock from my main DT in there with him.
I tried some mysis a he seemed to take a little bit of it, at this point I'm hoping for a full recovery I hated to see a creature in the shape he was when I got him.
