Gulf pipes, my searches never turned up any info on these in aquaria.
Are they rare to find? What do they normally cost?

they are very common of the Texas coast, find them all over the grass areas, there are 2 kind, both look similar, just the size changes, and cheap.

Gulf pipes, from what I have seen mind you and I have caught them in very different bodies of water, tend to be more brownish to green as opposed to red. Any idea where it was obtained? It looks alot like a Short-fin pipefish. Cosmocampus elucens. Did you get it online?

I like both your pipe fish and your clown shrimps.

Thanks I love the pipefish even though I couldn't name them. They seem a lot more hardy then other pipefish I had before(blue stripe).

The shrimp I have there are my Harlequin shrimp. Heres a diffrent pic of them...

Sadly I couldn't say where these pipes were picked up from. I only know the person I got them from was selling his tanks and I wanted to give them a good home. HE gave them to me as "unidentified pipefuls pair" so until I made this post I was in the dark as to even where they are collected!
