Well, I went to the petstore to trade in my Flame Angel because it was picking on my clam.

I was able to trade it for a True Perc and this Zoa colonly.

Can anyone tell me what the name is for the green ones.. and also the top ones that have an orange mouth? At the petstore it was just named Green Zoas.

Also, I circled something that looks like a glass ball or marble... any idea what that is?

So when I was acclimating the Zoas, another coral was on the bottom of the bag... I quickly superglued it to another piece of rock... I know it isn't a Zoa but I have no idea what it is... Any ideas? It's kinda hard to see because it blends in with the back ground. If no one could tell... I'll try to take a better pick... It is about 1 inch tall with 3 branches.

those greens are radioactive dragon eyes, the marble is bubble algae, get rid of it if you can.

Yes its bubble algea. Remove it in a bucket * not in the tank*. try not to pop it.

So does anyone know what the Zoas are with the orange mouths? They are on the top part of the colony in the picture...

Also what is the coral in the second pic?

maybe a capnella? not much into softies anymore. the green with orange mouths are likely green bay packers try zoaid.com

Ok cool... I'll take it out (the bubble algea).... what exactly does it do?
Well i dont know if does something bad only thing is that if is not controlled it on time can be everywere and is known as a pest algea and well like mentioned dont remove it or pop in the tank or it will spread in the water in little tiny microscopic kinda seed and well the second pic the coral is hard to tell what it is but looks like a Kenya Tree Coral but not sure really looks like but not sure... HTH

Agree - bubble algae, becomes a nuisance
Your second coral does indeed look like a Kenya Tree/Capnella. These can be great additions, but ours was very good at reproducing! You should have plenty to give away! When it reproduces, one of the branches will start to pinch off. At first this alarmed us since we didn't realize what was going on. The part that falls off will land somewhere and begin growing there, starting the process all over again. At one point ours was dropping babies about once every two weeks, and sometimes more than one at a time.
Have fun!

Thanks all for the replies.... I took out the bubble algea and it was pretty easy not popping it. It was really solid.

That's cool about the Kenya Tree... I'm sure it will be fun seeing it multiply... If it gets too crazy I'll have to give them to my LFS since they gave it to me for free :P
