ID Object On LiveRock Please

This live rock is Atlantic Gulf origin. I have had this live rock for some time and noticed a white circular stony like object next to a tinier matching one for a month. It looks like dead white coral. I did an aqua scape putting this up higher and at the same time replaced an aging t5 lighting with Radion set to cycle a regular day, and lowered Phosphate finally getting a reactor and GFO.

well...now there are these tiny arms that are clear with tiny whit tips growing out of it. It does not look menacing and I have never had corals before. Could this be coral starting to grow. It did not start growing until the above happened.

Is this bad or good? Is it Boulder Star coral?

The objects are center. you will see two feather dusters to the right that inhabit the rocks by the Dozens.

Is that a skeleton I see? Can't see so well...

If not a skeleton, I'd say it's a (pseudo)corynactis. If there is a skeleton, definitely some type of coral.

Either way, I wouldn't be displeased.

Yes...I am not knowledgeable of corals yet. but...I do think that the circular rigged base was skeletal looking. Then it started getting fuzzy on top like wet bread in a bowl , I thought it was kinda like an algea forming but could not tell. now, obviously it is becoming alive. I have seen a couple of pictures of coral that have these kinda clear tubular arms with white spots and tip. the following is a great Star Coral. the tentacles are not as long as mine but simular if you know what I mean. LOL... Do corals haver these small tentacles out of each branch, seriously i know nothing yet about corals. my calcium is 460 ( a tad high) and I do not have an Alk or mag test yet (on the way) I was not planning on having coral yet. I was on the pill

The tentacles retracted and thought it important to post a picture of the Skeletal base. The smaller of the two is facing us, right next to the side of the other. (white objects center)

It's safe. One of the many good hitch hikers you can get in on your rock. I don't recall the name off the top of my head, but it's not Pseudocorynactis; you can see the septa of the skeleton in the latest photo.

It's a cup coral, probably Phyllangia americana. Cool little corals!
