Its in a 90 w/ 2 x 250w mh an 2 x 96w actinic power compacts. lights are 4 inches from water.

How far up does it need to go?

rules are meant to be broken. the coralife fixture on my 20 houses a 150 appx 5 inches off the, no problems yet.
