could someone tell me what this anenome is and if it will sting my xenia?

it is very translucent, I think it's in the aiptasia family but I'm not sure, I may just joe juice it on the side of caution

Can you get a closer pic? I don't think it's an aiptasia. I'm seeing what looks like a skeleton underneath. Am I wrong?

Looks more like a "hidden cup coral" Phyllangia americana, which is a somewhat common hitchhiker.

it looks to have a skeleton, if by a skeloton you mean a hard looking mouth piece, i'll try to get some more pics up later, thanks

That is a cup coral. It is an LPS from the caribbean or gulf. They glow great under actinics and do not move around or spread quickly. They are non photosynthetic and clear is their normal color. They get white tips when they have been well fed. They have a pretty powerful sting, so keep them away from other corals. I wouldn't worry about your xenia though, it will just grow around them.

I coined the name "invisible sun polyps" for them, but it hasn't caught on.
