I have what look like several small LPS's, unsure of what they are. They look like small transparent anemonies with tiny white specs in the tentacles. Very pretty, and they eat like an anemone (taking food particles to central mouth with tentacles). They appear to have a hard base/skeleton like a frogspawn only much smaller. They are growing very fast also. They have always been there off/on but recently began to really take off. If needed I can get some pics, just curious. Thanks. Bye the way- they seem to close up mostly when the lights come on.

sounds like apstasia. there is a thread in the "new to the hoby forum" REEF-ON!!!

aptasia dont have skeletons.

soudns like "strawberry anemones" or "cup corals" that are found on gulf live rock

They are Phyllangia americana pretty common hitch hikers on live rock. Feed them like you would any dendrophyllia or Tubastrea, Sun coral, ect. with Mysis or brine shrimp.
