If it were then I am in good spirits since I got the colony for $18. and will head back to the same place and get a colony or 2 more... that is if it does morph to a nice color...

the LFS i got mine from called them "cat eye's" ... I don't think that is the right name at all though. When i got them home i was happy with the find because they were definitely a PE and have put on about 10 heads since that picture. :) I seriously think this is what you have...although I still don't know the name. Maybe a RPE morph?

My guess would be that they will eventually either color up to be the GPE's from zoaid, or the Green Stardust PE's. They can start out looking the same, but the GPE's just turn more green. The GSDPE's will develop a purplish, then pinkish white ring just inside the skirt, while the center gets as green as the GPE's from zoaid. Eventually, they can develop speckles or white hazy colorations in the oral disc (too many variables to go into what can make them what color-light, nutrient, etc.).

thank you both for your reply's , and how long does the morph take to complete or even start to occur.. they've been in my tank for about a week and half.

so what are the cream/orange skirt zoo?

I've gotten two separate rocks of PE's that looked like that. They both ended up being Green Stardust PE's. One of my favorite morphs. Nice find. It'll take at least a couple of weeks before they start to morph, but I think you'll be pleased with the end result. Here is a shot of some of mine.

Not long after I got them.

The ones pictured are under a 10k 150w halide about 12" below the lamp. The first rock I got that morphed were under PC's so they should morph regardless.

Like I said in a different thread, IMO GSPE's are a different morph than Desert Fox PE's.

IMO, they are neither. Just regular green PE's. they may get a little more defined purple on the edge, but I highly doubt they will go to GSPE or DF.
