I have 2 questions.

1. Is this aiptasia? I ordered some zooanthids from saltaterfish.com, and then this thing popped up a week later about 6 inches away from the new zoos. What should I do if it is?

2. At the bottom of the pic is a snail. I have TONS of them in my tank. I try to pick them out whenever i can, but they just come back more and more. Is there a fish that eats these? I heard they are bad for zoos.

is number 1 open day & night- if so probably aptasia. If only inthe day time could be a brown button polyp.

I don't see the snails in the pic, but do a google image search for Collonista. They're very common and harmless (and more likely they're what you have, not the zoanthid-eating ones).

Number one is a zoa or paly. Number 2......probably a harmless snail as LockeOak said.
