ID Please...pics!

Started off as just one. Now there are several. I never see anything poking out of them, but it looks like algae grows on the tips like a fan. As they get bigger they get hard white tubes like worms. I'm just curious as to what they are and have been watching their progress.

I have some of those. It's actually a weird, semi-rare macro algae. It rarely does well long term in an aquarium, but I saw a pic of a guy's tank that was covered in em'. It actually looked pretty cool, I'll see if I can find a link.

Yeah that link is sick. I have 2 spots where it grows. Hopefully it will continue to make a nice little patch.
