Id please-sold as fighting conch, but doesn't look it

Okay, I have looked online trying to find another snail that looked like mine and I can't locate it. This snail was sold as a fighting conch, but I really don't think it is one. If it is, I cannot find its specific type. I doubt it is. It does not have a trunk/mouth like the conchs I've seen or had. Also, it is climbing up my tank glass and all over my rocks knocking corals down. It seems to be nocturnal. Can you id???

Yup. It could either be an eroded Vasum muricatum, or a Vasum caestus. They are very closely related, and probably had the same ancestor. V. muricatum is from the Atlantic/Caribbean, wihle V. caestus is from the Panamic province of the eastern Pacific.

Did you get these online? I'm looking at some "fighting Conchs" online from an ebay seller but they don't have the scientific name listed. Asked about it and haven't gotten a reply yet.

I got these at a LFS not online. =) It is a weird snail.
