Wow... I've never seen so much black on even an onyx... Is that from Rod? or where did you get it?

It is not from Rod. It is a wild fish.

Best,
Ilham

Have you treated it for internal parasites if its WC? It looks alittle skinny from those pics ... I donno if its from parasites or from not eating due to acclimation but I'd beef her up!

Do you have a mate for her? one from rod would make some awsome babies!

did I mention how nice those colors are?!?!?! lol...stunning... lucky find!

wow! I am so envious of you finding such an absolutely beautiful onyx true perc!
I am willing to trade my pair of Cap clowns that Ive had for over a year for that perc, and another if you have one plus cash:) idk if I just broke any rules, I hope not.

THank you for the comments. I will treat it as a true percula from now on.

It does currently have slight bloating, and will start a pipzine treatment in the next week.

It is eating chopped scallops, and OSI spirulina flakes, although i have stopped flakes due to the possible bloating issues.

A full 10 minute freshwater dip was administered upon receipt.

Best,
Ilham

No... No they dont... you are both thinking of black occellaris clowns.. those become all black and white. They are tank raised also & not wild caught. The area the wild ones are from is protected now and no exports are allowed.

The clown that this guy has is a True percula... it will not turn all black... True percula's are the ones with the "onyx" name.
