Someone on the local forum thinks it might be a Hypselodoris Maculos but wasn't sure. Any experts?

Large Zoa Rock colony. About an inch. Not sure where it's from.

You got it right, it's Hypselodoris maculosa. It's a sponge eater, so it's not really a threat in a reef tank. Here's one I found in the Line Islands, Kiribati:
