ID Please, What is this?

Picture was taken at a snorkel spot on Miyako Island. My first guess is a sea cucumber but it is more of an oval shape than a cucumber shape.

You're first guess is right, it's a sea cucumber. Remember these are soft and can contract. The fact that it released its Cuvierian organs (the white strings) for defense or from stress could also contribute to the odd shape.
