Palegicmagic..you should find someone who has Verons Corals of the World 3 volume set..thats where that pic of the anacropora is from.

Ok.

I spoke to the last owner of the coral. It was 100% deep purple when he first got it then it faded to the color in the first photo. Polyps are also turning a neon green/yellow color.

Definately an ACRO. Just goes to show you what can happen when acros are in different conditions. They can look totally different.
