i have no clue what this is.....i bought it and never asked what it was. its hard coral like a monti cap,buy i dont think its a monti cap,and also what kind of palyo's are attatched to it? thanks

i guess "BLEACHED" is not a good sign huh? lol is it dead or can it be saved? what are your thoughts gary?

its not dead, it could be your white balance setting too. Are there any dead spots? Its in the sandbed so it might only want a wee bit more light and flow. Its been a long time since I had that coral do I remember it getting a sort of fuzzy look to it when the polyps are extended?

judging from your pic this coral can be saved.

It will get dark green and fuzzy. Extreme intense light not recommended but maintain good water conditions.

depending on SPECIES this Pavona might not be bleached

in any case, it should get "hairy" when happy :wildone:
